Mirco-level Insight into the Surface Tension-structure Relationship of Molten CaO–MgO–SiO<sub>2</sub>–Fe<i><sub>x</sub></i>O–P<sub>2</sub>O<sub>5</sub> Slags

For comprehensive understanding and control of the properties CaO–MgO–SiO2–FexO–P2O5 slags, thorough investigation surface tension-structure relationship is required. In this study, structural behaviors components were analyzed by Raman spectroscopy, transformation mechanism tension as a function composition was clarified. The results showed that with CaO/SiO2 increasing from 0.5 to 2.0, O2– resulted in progressive breaking bridging oxygen bonds [SiO4]- [PO4]-tetrahedrons, Ca2+ contributed stabilization [FeO4]-tetrahedrons, thereby promoting [FeO6]-octahedrons [FeO4]-tetrahedrons. Although network-forming ability Fe3+ enhanced, overall non-bridging number still gradual increase thus higher unsatisfied energy layer led an tension. Nonetheless, P=O effectively reduced due its stable configuration range = 0.5–1.0, diminishing magnitude Furthermore, strong linear between logarithm parameters found. On basis, estimation equation applied CaO–MgO–SiO2–FexO–P2O5-based system established terms deconvolution melt structures.
